Esther Cory Cox, 102 1/2, of North Little Rock, died December 4, 2010. She was born April 30, 1908 in Ft. Scott, Kansas She was a longtime member of North Little Rock First United Methodist Church where she helped form the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was a Charter Member of the North Little Rock Junior Service League. She was retired from the Pulaski County Collector Office. She loved gardening, attending the Jacksonville Senior Center, and being with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, D. Thomas Cox. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Cox Fraley and her husband, Bill; and two grandsons, Daniel Fraley (Michelle) of Bryant, Patrick Fraley (Gina) of Conway; three great-grandchildren, Owen, Kailyn and Deric and a host of family, friends and special friends, Suzanne and Alex Peebles. Visitation will be at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400) in North Little Rock on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Brearley Cemetery, Dardanelle, Ark. The family suggests Memorial contributions be made to the Jacksonville Senior Center, 100 Victory Circle, Jacksonville, Ark. 72076. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Woodland Hills, Arkansas Hospice (Nurse Vickie) and especially the Jacksonville Senior Center for providing such a wonderful program for seniors.
