Rosetta Ward Grisby, was called home to the Lord after 98 years of a blessed life on Thursday, December 2, 2010. According to her wishes, she remained at home until she was called peacefully in her sleep after a long battle of illness. Mrs. Grisby was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maggie (Bynum) Ward and 10 siblings. She was a member of St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 78 years, Boregard Grisby; daughters, Margaret Barnett (Jonas) of Richton Park, IL, Adell Westbrook (Franklin D.) of Silver Spring, Md.; five sisters, seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; other family and friends. Family hour: 10 a.m. Saturday with Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church, 2201 Brown St., Little Rock, Rev. Booker officiating.
