Barbara Ann Kilman age 76, died Saturday, December 4, in St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 10, at 2 p.m. in Tulsa's Boston Avenue United Methodist Church Rose Chapel. Mrs. Kilman was born on October 30, 1934 in Newport, Arkansas to Paul James and Opal (Rodgers) Jamison. She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest son Kendall in 2001. His wife Nancy Kilman Devenuto, Mo., husband Frank and children, Ashley, Zachariah and Abigail reside in Salem, Mo. Oldest grandson, Christopher, lives in Virginia. She is also survived by son James and his wife Denise of Tulsa and grandchildren, Amy Dane and husband Greg, Renee and Darryl Kilman. Sister, Mary Jane Robinson of Little Rock, Ark., nieces and nephew Robert L. Robinson IV of El Dorado, Ark., Ahron Couey of Austin, Texas and Mary Claire Roberts of Little Rock and their families. Ann received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Arkansas and taught middle school science and home economics in Conway schools for over 30 years. Ann served as a foster parent for trouble kids and volunteered with Woodmen of the World youth programs after her own sons were grown. She brought much life, laughter and love with her wherever she was and could be counted upon for brightly colored clothing, lipstick and accessories - lot's of purple and red. Always a teacher, in her last days, she was teaching staff members at her home at Tulsa's Woodland Terrace how to "single stitch" crochet colorful satchels.
