William J. Watts, 90 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 6, 2010. He was born May 5, 1920 in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Edward and Verda Mae Watts. Mr. Watts served as a sergeant in the South Pacific Campaign and was a member of the Occupation Forces of Japan during and after World War II. He also served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Dorothy Watts; two daughters, Gail Pennington and Sandra Trowbridge. He is survived by two sons, Darrell Watts (Pearl) of Zion, Illinois; Terrell Watts (Louise) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and one daughter, Judy Teague of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7410 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas. Family will receive friends 4:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800.
