Helen White

Helen Jean White, age 80, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010. She was born August 2, 1930 in Delight, Arkansas to the late William E. and Amorette A. Barton. Mrs. White retired as a nurse after 31 years at the Benton Service Center and was a member of Benton First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalton W. Stone; five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her children, Judy Childress (Joe), Gary Stone (Inez), Stan Stone (Darlene), Karen Hart (Jack) and Wendy Halpin (Anthony); sister, Fadral James; brother, Dexter Barton; grandchildren, Chris and Kenny Stone, Carla Moreno, Jarrod Hart, Lauren and Cody Bradshaw and Matty Halpin; four great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenny, Chris and DeWayne Stone, Jarrod Hart, Robbie and Cody Bradshaw. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 10 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 11 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Friendship Cemetery in McCaskill, Arkansas. Rev. Nate Bienhoff and Rev. Frank Hill will be officiating.
