Angelita Polston, 72 of Jacksonville, passed away, Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 2, 1938 in Nogales, Mexico to the late Antonio and Marie Chan. On August 17, 1963 she married Marlon Ray Polston in National City, California. For 30 years together they owned and operated Polston Used Cars until retiring in 2003. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Jacksonville where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society. Mrs. Polston was preceded in death by her brother, Antonio Chan and a sister, Suky Garcia. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Marlon Ray Polston of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wesley Polston of Jacksonville, Andy and Stacey Polston, also of Jacksonville; three grandchildren which were the apple of her eye, Connor, Allison, and Cameron; sister, Marie Hood of Chula Vista, California. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Mass of the Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. with Father James P. West officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord, Arkansas.
