Charles W. Casteel

Charles W. Casteel, 74, of Little Rock passed away on Sunday, December 19th, 2010. He was born on September 5th, 1936 to Leonard and Lura Mae Casteel. Charles proudly served his country in the Air Force. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was working in the yard or gardening. He treasured the time he spent with Doodle, his granddog. He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Joann; his daughter Angela Michele Parker and her husband, Gene; his siblings Lorene Ward, Mary Elizabeth Phillips, Grace Gilliam, James Casteel, Lura Dean and Susie Heller and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Geraldine Hubbs and Connie Sue Casteel and his brothers J.T. and Eugene Casteel. Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
