Elda Presnall

Elda Presnall, 75, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas was carried to her eternal resting place to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Elda was born on May 25, 1934 in Little Rock, Ark. to Dovie and Eldie Clark. She was a homemaker, business owner and a Christian. She was a member of First Christian Church in Benton, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim Presnall and her grandson, Marcus Allen. Elda was very family-centered and found great comfort spending time with loved ones. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her many hours of joy and happiness. She was a fabulous cook and seamstress, providing many clothes for her family, and even their dolls. She also was an accomplished athlete as a young lady, participating in basketball, softball and bowling. She was a great friend to her friends and family, an excellent listener, and always offered loving guidance. She loved spending Christmas in the company of her family. She and Jim shared 56 Christmases together on earth, and will share their 57th together in Heaven. Of all the Christmas presents Jim received, spending this precious time with her in Heaven will be the best. Survivors include her brother, Harold Clark, of Hot Springs; daughter, Lynn Austin and husband, Ron; son, Jeff Presnall and wife, Dana; granddaughter Lindsey Hendrick and husband, Jason; granddaughter, Kaylen Presnall; great-grandsons Tyler Ashlock, and Hunter Raney, great-granddaughter Josie Hendrick, all of Benton, and great-grandson Nicholas Golla of Shreveport, La. A private graveside service was held on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24th at 10 a.m. at Bauxite Cemetery in Bauxite.
