Myrtle Kirkland

Myrtle "Aunt Mat" Kirkland, 92, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010. She was a retired Post Master and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, AARP and Pulaski County Mounted Patrol. She was generous and service minded towards her community and loved her animals. She is survived by two sisters, Doris Hallum and Shirley Gentry, both of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
