Wilma Helen Thompson

Wilma Helen Thompson, 74, of Searcy died Thursday December 23, 2010. She was born September 24, 1936 in Griffithville Arkansas, the daughter of Forriest and Nora Allen. She is survived by her husband Bobby Thompson; Two sons Kevin Gross and his wife Diane, and Alan Gross; three brothers Dale, Forrest, and Eddie Allen; three sisters Peggy Walters, Pat Mosher, and Della Gaines; five step-children, Lyndon Thompson and his wife Jane, Teresa Staley and her husband William, Janice Hofmeister and her husband Monte, June Thompson, and Glen Thompson and his wife Buffie; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian Gross; and her first husband Alfred Lavoy Gross. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at alz.org, to the First Baptist Church of Searcy, or to a favorite charity. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel of Searcy.
