Celia Grace Williams of Batesville, Arkansas departed Monday, December 27, 2010 for her heavenly home at the age of 86. Born September 8, 1924 on a farm at Wilson Springs in Harrison, Arkansas she was one of ten children from the marriage of C.H. and Birdie Lou Bell. She was married to Lloyd E. Williams of Batesville, Arkansas, June 23, 1950 and was the loving mother of two sons, Dr. Mark Austin Williams and Grant Pierce Williams. She was a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. She was a career teacher of home economics and taught school in North Platt, Nebraska, Cave City, Arkansas and Mount Pleasant, Arkansas. She was a member of Central Avenue United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Grant Williams and wife, Marietta, Dr. Mark Williams, and wife, Janis; one sister, Virginia Schneider; four grandchildren, Adriane Everett, Austin Williams, Andrew Williams, April Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Hubbard and Noah Everett. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Central Avenue United Methodist Church in Batesville with Rev. Jim Pearce and Rev. Rob Ernest officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2010.
