Edward Ellis Babin Jr.

EDWARD ELLIS BABIN JR., 84, of Little Rock, passed away at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant on Friday, July 9, 2010. He was born Sept. 4, 1925 at Lake Village, Ark., the son of the late Edward Ellis Babin Sr., and Gertrude Turpin Noble. He was a retired postal employee in Little Rock. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II and the Korean War. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen Dailey. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Olga Olkusz Babin; daughter, Theresa Stearns and son-in-law David, of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Michael Dailey of San Francisco, Calif., and Daniel Dailey of Maumelle, Ark.; great-granddaughter, Teagan Dailey. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, (501)224-8300.
