Dallas Vire

Dallas Vire of West Fork went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2010 at the age of 82. He was born June 16, 1928 to Elisha and Lucy Vire in Oark, Ark. He was a member of West Fork First Baptist Church, a devoted husband, father and follower of Christ. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was retired after a 34 year career with the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department as a Civil Engineer. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Alyce Maye Woods Vire; four sons Craig Vire of Burleson, Texas, Clay Vire of Searcy, Ark., Dennis Vire of Benton, Ark., Mitchell Vire of Gravel Ridge, Ark.; two brothers Loyd Vire of Oregon, Wis. and Denton Vire of West Fork; nine grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday July 12, 2010 at West Fork First Baptist Church with burial at West Fork Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark.
