Reuben Ozell Adcock, born June 2, 1916, Reuben Ozell Adcock went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 9, 2010. The WWII veteran was 94 years old and had lived in Arkadelphia for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Isabelle Adcock in 2008. Ozell is survived by one daughter, Patricia Keeton and husband Tommy of Plano, Texas; one son, Frankie Adcock and wife Brenda, of Grand Prairie, Texas; four grandchildren, David Keeton and wife Terry of Frisco, Texas, Dianne Beason and husband Joe of Keller, Texas, Kevin Adcock of Saginaw, Texas and Air Force Staff Sgt. Mark Adcock currently deployed.; eight great-grandchildren, Christopher, Katelyn, and Alex Keeton, Ashton and Jackson Adcock, Aaron Eggenberg, Natalie and Brady Beason; one brother, Lindell Adcock and wife, Betty of Hearn; a niece and several nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, from 6-8 p.m. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia and the memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 13, at 10 a.m., at the First United Pentecostal Church, 2711 Country Club Road, Arkadelphia. Burial and military honors will be in Brushy Creek Cemetery, near Alpine. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Pentecostal Church.
