Stanley Ward, age 79, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010. He was born March 2, 1931, in Onia, Arkansas, a son of E.E. Ward and Reaney Meeler Ward. He was retired manager for Arkla Gas Company, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and ordained Deacon for 52 years. Mr. Ward was also a past Morrilton Fireman for over 25 years and a 50 year member of Morrilton Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Doylene Wells Ward of Morrilton; son, Brad Ward of Russellville; family friend, Kirt Mosley of Russellville; and brother, Alvie Ward of Morrilton. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Tilley and Rev. Sonny Harvison officiating.
