Royce Van Adair, age 72, of Warren, Ark. died Thursday July 29, at J.R.M.C. Born October 7, 1937 in Bradley County, Ark., a son of the late Charles Buford Adair and Bessie Boldebook Adair, he was a graduate of Warren Public Schools where he was a fullback on the Lumberjack Football team, a U.S. Navy veteran, a carpenter and retired from Anderson Tully Timber Company. Also, preceding him in death was a brother, Charles "Bo" Adair and a sister, Betty Athalene Shelby. Survivors are one brother, James Adair, Warren, Ark., two sisters, Maxine Lawhon, Little Rock, Ark., Carolyn Wytcherly, Longview, Wash., a nephew, Jack Lawhon and spouse Donna, Warren, Ark. Graveside services 2 p.m., Sunday, August 1, at Ebenezer Cemetery near Warren, Ark. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Sunday, August 1, at Frazer's.
