Jeanette C. Baker

Jeanette C. Baker, age 95, of Crossett, Ark., passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, La. She was the widow of Arthur Baker whom she married November 19, 1933. She was a homemaker and loved to quilt. Those who received her quilts treasured them. She was also an avid gardener and faithful member First United Methodist Church of Crossett, Ark She was preceded in death by her parents Shelby Beasley and Ira Hickman Beasley, brothers Macken, Molten and Everett Beaseley, sisters Vedia Savage and Alice Rodgers. She is survived by two nieces Opal Burchfield, Crossett, Ark., Katrina Baker, Hermitage, Ark., two nephews Donnie Beasley, Pine Bluff, Ark., and LaDane Rodgers, Leawood, Kan. and a host of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2 p.m. Friday, June 4, Frazer's Chapel. Burial Outlaw Cemetery at Sumpter, Ark. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 1 p.m. till service time Friday, June 4, at Frazer's.
