Stephanie Wood

Stephanie Wood, 38, of Acworth passed away Wednesday June 9, 2010 after a long heroic battle with diabetes. After her life came to an end and in her passing from this life to the next, she passed on the gift of life to many others through her organ donations. Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Randy Brooks and Rev. Howard Wright officiating. Ms. Wood was a member of Marietta Church of God and she was involved in church missionary work. She worked for Home Depot for five years. Survivors include her mother, Sharon Wood of Acworth; her father, Daniel Wood and his wife, Geri of Warrenville, Ill.; one sister, Shauna Krohn and her husband, Bruce of Woodstock; two brothers, Samuel Wood and his wife, Kristen of Little Rock, Ark., Steve Wood of Acworth; nine nephews; grandmother, Mable Brock of Jonesboro, Ark.; aunts, uncles, and cousins and many friends.
