Willie Louise George, 91, of Conway, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Born in Harmony, Ark., she was a daughter to the late Joe T. and Ora Era (Smith) Miller. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church where she was very active and was assistant Teacher for the Senior Women's Sunday School Class. She loved the church and especially working with young people. During WWII she worked at Tuft Nutt, later owned her own Beauty Salon and she and her husband built several sub-divisions in North Little Rock. Her parents; her husband of 41 years Woodrow Wilson George, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death. Survivors include her son William "Bill" George and wife Margaret Ann of Conway; three granddaughters: Angela George of Cookeville, Tenn., Gina Shields of Benton, Ark. ad Debra Holmes of Conway; three great-grandchildren: James and Kathryn Holmes and Noah Shields; three brothers Joe D. Miller, David Miller both of Little Rock and Allen A. Miller of Mayflower, a sister, Iva Joe Adams of California and her church family and friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 14 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery with Bo Long, Alan Kelley, Jake Kelley, Robert Miller, Danny Miller and Steve Herrin serving as pallbearers.
