Jacqueline Rhodes

Jacqueline Rhodes, age 83, of Sheridan, died, Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born Oct. 31, 1926 to the late Walter and Rhoda Holt Jones. Jacqueline married the late Robert Claud Rhodes Sr. on Sept. 19, 1942. She was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Sheridan. Jacqueline loved her family and loved to go camping. She was preceded in death by her husband Claud Rhodes of 50 years; daughter Faye Huggins; step-mother, Sylvia Jones; and her parents. She is survived by six children, Robert (JoAnne) Rhodes of Rison, Charles (Rena) Rhodes of Sheridan, Darlene Rhodes of the home, Marilyn (Robert Lee) Hurst, Diane (Cole) Davis, and Brenda (Harlan) Brown, all of Sheridan; ten grandchildren, Chris and Jeremy Brown, Brandon Owens, Brandi Kimmel, Ronald Hurst, Cyndi Livingston, Randy Rhodes, Carlie Rhodes, Allen and Michael Rhodes; 15 great-grandchildren: Jayce, Kalon, Peyton, Ashtyn, Shelby, Tucker, Hannah, Haley, Colton, Mollie, Kelley, Cameron, Cory, Camron, and Erica: and one sister, Natha Lee Bilash of Sheridan. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Sheridan with Brother John Brown and Brother Johnnie Brewster officiating. Interment will follow at Rhodes Cemetery.
