James Caldwell Thompson

James Caldwell Thompson, age 84, of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010. He was born on April 26, 1926, at Little Rock, the son of Lester Thompson and Maudie Runette Caldwell Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Clifford Thompson, all of North Little Rock. James was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad after 41 years of service. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Troy Schaberg of Amity; one grandson, Sean Schaberg; one brother, John L. Thompson of Sherwood; several nieces and nephews; and a lifelong friend, William "Junior" Durham of Shreveport, Louisiana. Graveside services were held at Mayflower Cemetery on June 5, 2010 under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
