Vieola Heird Neal

A. VIEOLA HEIRD NEAL, age 65, of Alexander passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton. She was born Sept. 11, 1944 in Sheridan, a daughter of the late William Voda and Mary Mae Cotton Heird. Mrs. Neal was a homemaker, and a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Southwest Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Wade Morris; step-mother, Eunice Heird; and step-sister, Wanda Plummer. She is survived by her husband, Edward Ray Neal of Alexander; daughter, Delena Joann Bradford of Alexander; three step-children, Chelcia Ray Neal, Camille Renee Taylor and Allen Arthur Neal, all of Alexander; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Brandon Morris, NiCole Sheree Tyler, Anjannette Clark, Eliza Moore, C.J.Standridge, Perry, Audrey,Virginia and Phillip Neal, Savannah Lee, and Jessica Culverhouse; two great grandchildren, Jonathon Edward Morris, Tyler Dwayne Young, and five other great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Margie Mae Pope of Sheridan; four brothers, Joe Jack Heird of Conway, Charles William Heird of Pine Bluff, John David Heird of Sheridan, Lonnie Lewis Heird of Hot Springs; two step-sisters, Margret Dyres Jones of Sheridan, Vivian Harvey of Shreveport, La.; one step-brother, Marvin Edwin Cotton of Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will follow at Rhodes Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are: Bill Branson, David Tooke, Jeff Hager, Tyler Hager, Christopher Morris, and Allen Neal.
