Marilyn Fulper, 56, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010. She was born in New Jersey to Norman and Eileen Fulper. She grew up working outside on the family dairy farm in Booneville, Mississippi where she developed compassion for animals especially horses and dogs. In high school she began working in radio broadcasting and loved it; she worked in broadcasting for over 20 years. Upon starting her family, she went into the educational field and was currently working in the Clinical Skills Center at UAMS and was seeking her Doctorate Degree in Education. She had recently become an avid bicyclist and had just finished the 100 mile Tour de Rock. Marilyn enjoyed life's challenges and conquered most of them. June 20th presented her final challenge. She was a dedicated mother, sister, daughter, friend and employee. She will be missed deeply. She is survived by her daughter, Mersey Fulper-Smith; son, Mathew Fulper-Smith; mother, Eileen Fulper; sister, Laura Hutchins and husband, Steven, all of Little Rock; three brothers, Peter Fulper and wife, Martha, of Gretna, Virginia, David Fulper and wife, Martha, of Clearwater, Florida and Chris Fulper and wife, Roseanne, of Boonesville, Mississippi; and sister, Rebecca Fulper and fiancé, Tom Marvin, of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Fulper.
