Betty Lou McKiever

Betty Lou McKiever, 58, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday at DeQueen Medical Center in De Queen. She was born August 30, 1951 in Malvern. She was a Counselor for the Opportunity & Industrial Center and a member of Carthage Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of the late Gene McCormick Wylie Sr. and Audrey Marjean Walpole Wylie. Survivors include her husband, Garel "Mac" McKiever of Monticello; one son, Bret Lee McKiever and wife, Alydia of Lockesberg; one daughter, Stacey Lee Janes and husband, Brandon of Lockesberg; two brothers, Ronald Dale Wylie and Gene Mack Wylie, Jr., both of Tulip; one sister, Sheryl Ann Whearty of Mexico, Mo.; five grandchildren, Breannah Linely, Mayson McKiever, Carson McKiever, Tori Janes and Braylee Janes; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel, with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials to: Betty McKiever Fund, c/o Commercial Bank, P.O.
