Bob Huie

Reverend Bob Huie, 78, of Benton, "went home" Wednesday, June 23, 2010. He was born in Enloe, Texas on January 16, 1932. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Thomas Huie and Sally Griffin Huie; sisters, Evelyn Allen and Melba Jordan; brothers, Donnie Huie and J.T. Huie. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wanda Luna Huie; daughter, Jodi Feland; sons, Ed Huie; Barney Huie and Robin Huie; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Micah, Landon, Loren, Lindsey, Victoria, Rylee and Mason; siblings, Ann Millsap, Edsel Huie and Helen Maynard and numerous nieces and nephews. He was ordained with the Assemblies of God and served in pastoral and evangelistic ministries for 50 years. A celebration service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 26 at Abundant Life Assembly, Bryant. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander.
