Wanda Jean Rigsby Harris

Wanda Jean Rigsby Harris, age 78, of Benton, passed away June 23, 2010. She was born October 20, 1931 to the late George and Lillie Burks Rigsby. Mrs. Harris was a nurse and worked at the Benton State Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur Vernon Harris; daughter, Marilyn Petruk and three brothers, Raymond, Robert and J.C. Rigsby. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Lott and her husband James of Benton and Sondra Harris of Mabank, Texas; sister, Marie Tanner of Glen Rose; five grandchildren, Drew Lott of Little Rock, Jaime Gaston and husband Brad of Benton, Cody Gwin of Benton, Callie Putman of Mabank, Texas and Ryan Petruk of Benton; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 26 at Forest Hills Cemetery. Rev. Lorrie Slaymaker will be officiating. On-line guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
