Margaret Brown

Margaret Brown, 88, of North Little Rock, went to be with our lord on June 22, 2010. She was born November 4, 1921 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Olvia Emrich Richard. Margaret retired from Kellwood Co. where she worked for many years as a seamstress. In her later years, she was an in-home care provider for the elderly and disabled. The family fondly remembers her love for gardening, cake baking and cooking for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her strength and love was unparalleled. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, and her son George Brown. Survivors include her daughter Patricia Hanks of North Little Rock and family friend O.L. Tucker of North Little Rock; grandchildren Allen Brown of Sherwood, Tina Kiser of Vilonia, Melissa Bradley of Ward, and Kenny McBride of North Little Rock; great-grandchildren Gavin Brown, Cooper Brown, Brittany Wimberly, Dylan Kiser, Andrew Kiser, Laura Bradley, Brittani Bradley, Caleb McBride, and Matt McBride. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, burial will immediately follow the service in the Mt. Caramel Cemetery in Cabot.
