Dale Gene Bollnak, 77, of Searcy, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at his home. He was born April 27, 1933 in Cresco, Iowa a son of the late Mickael and Anna Hyke Bollnak. Dale was a retired cost analyst with the Ford Motor Company and was of the Catholic faith. He attended St. Johns Catholic School in Ft. Atkinson, Iowa, then Drake University in Des Moines for two years. He was in the ROTC at Drake University. He was a talented baseball player in his younger years. Dale is survived by his devoted wife, Geneva (Bradford) Bollnak; sisters, Gabrella (Bollnak) Leo of Des Moines, Iowa, Mary Ann (Bollnak) Dickman of New Windsor, New York and Catherine Darlene (Bollnak) Wood of Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by sisters, Clementine Bollnak, Delores Lansing and Beatrice Dickman; a brother, Mark Vincent Bollnak and a step-son, Roger Lieblong. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White County Medical Foundation, Attn: Marketing, 3214 E. Race St., Searcy, Arkansas 72143; or to the Hospice Home Care, Inc., 106 Spring St., Searcy, Ark. 72143. Rosary service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
