Leree C. Throckmorton

Leree C. Throckmorton, 75, of Denmark, joined his Heavenly Father Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. He was born Aug. 27, 1935 to Marvin and Dorothy (Corbit) Throckmorton. Leree was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and was the retired owner of Throckmorton Feed and Supply. He was a member of the Velvet Ridge Fire Department Board and the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Leree is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beatrice (Mayhue) Throckmorton; a son, Cliff Throckmorton of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Gaye Throckmorton of Denmark; a brother, Wayne Throckmorton of Judsonia; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation: Monday, 6-8 p.m., Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Services: Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, 10 a.m., Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. Interment: Bethlehem Cemetery at Denmark.
