Courtney and Alisha Clark

Courtney Faye Clark, age 10 and Alisha Jean Clark, age 7 both of Taylor, Arkansas died Friday, October 29, 2010 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Courtney was born on February 1, 2000 and Alisha was born on April 16, 2003 both in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Courtney was in the 5th grade and wanted to become a veterinarian and Alisha was in the 2nd grade both at Bradley Elementary in Bradley, Arkansas. Courtney was a member of the Spring Branch Baptist Church and both Courtney and Alisha were attending State Line Baptist Church. Courtney and Alisha both loved the outdoors, animals especially, and their dog, "Sarah", riding bicycles, riding four wheelers and fishing with their "Pop" and "Granny." They enjoyed drawing, art, reading, and playing "hide and seek." They are preceded in death by their mother, Crystal Jean Clark who they both loved very much. Survivors are their father, Ray Clark of Lake Erling, Arkansas; sister, Lacie Bea Clark of Lake Erling, Arkansas; maternal grandparents, Cindy " Nana" and Eugene Shaw of Jessieville, Arkansas, James Palmer "Pawpaw" of Hot Springs, Arkansas; fraternal grandparents, Ray and Teresa Williams "Pop and Granny" of Lake Erling, Arkansas; aunts and uncles, Vanessa and Justin Long of Royal, Arkansas, Steven Palmer of Mt. Pine, Arkansas, Karen and Charlie Gutierrez of Stamps, Arkansas, Sherry and Patrick Kelley of Lewisville, Arkansas, Sandi and Pee Wee Robles of Lewisville, Arkansas; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Family visitation will be Monday, November 1st from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home in Springhill, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the State Line Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Langston officiating and assisted by Bro. Richard Britt and Bro. Bill Pickard. Burial will follow at the State Line Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Springhill.
