Dale M. Taylor, 72, of Conway/Little Rock passed away October 30, 2010 in his home after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born June 6, 1938 in Pine Bluff to the late Francis and Jewel Taylor. Dale was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and received his undergraduate degree from Arkansas Teachers College. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the UALR Bowen School of Law. Dale spent his professional career as a mortgage banker and was particularly active with the community development organizations throughout central Arkansas. Survivors include his four children, Kimberly Taylor Phillips, Todd Taylor, both of North Little Rock, Shawn Taylor, of Little Rock, and Shane Taylor of North Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Ashleigh Phillips, Madison, Jade, and Austin Taylor, Kaileigh Taylor and Avery and Dylan Taylor; his two Brothers, Bill Taylor of Memphis, David Taylor of White Hall and one sister Betty Spadoni of Pine Bluff and a host of nieces and nephews. Dale's children would like to thank his loving, faithful and supportive companion Kay Weatherly for the care and affection she bestowed upon their beloved father. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 4th, 2010 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515. The family asks that all those who wish to pay tribute to Dale, feel welcome to speak at the service.
