Dorothy Gossum

Our beloved Mimi, DOROTHY GOSSUM, 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, 31 October, 2010. She was born February 2, 1927 to Roy and Eva Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked many years and retired as the Executive Secretary of the North Pulaski Board of Realtors. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Al Gossum; son, Mike Berg (Larita), daughter, Debbie King (Butch); and stepdaughter, Lisa Hoggatt (Dan); all of Sherwood Arkansas. Mimi enjoyed 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by stepdaughter, Ramona Smiley (Robert) of Sherwood. Visitation will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2010 followed by a Vigil service starting at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be November 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. with burial in the State Veterans' Cemetery located on Maryland Avenue, Sherwood. Funeral Services will be provided by Huson Funeral Home, 7700 JFK, Sherwood. Deacon Chuck Farrar will officiate.
