Denver Watson

Denver Watson, 95, of Maumelle was born August 28th, 1915 in Huron, Texas to parents Clarence and Ella Mae Earley and passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010. She was a member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed sewing and worked as a seamstress for many years. She is survived by her children Larry Watson and his wife Caron of Maumelle and William Stafford and his wife Patricia of Vera Cruz, Mexico, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Katherine Wills of Ft. Worth, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Luther J. Watson, one daughter, Marie Moss and her brothers, C.G. and Pat Earley. Her family wishes to thank Evelyn Vance, Connie McCullough, Shirley Barnes, April Lane and Gena Shearer her care givers with Baptist Hospice for the loving care they showed to Mrs. Watson during her illness. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cedar Heights Baptist Church.
