Mrs. Sue Avaritt, age 79, of Harrison passed away Monday November 1, 2010 in Harrison. She was born May 28, 1931 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Sue was a housewife and a member of East Smith Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Mansfield, sister, Mary Louise Mansfield, and a grandson, Kendall Avaritt. Survivors, husband, Kenneth Avaritt Sr., Harrison; four sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Lesa Avaritt, Clarksville; Don and Linda Avaritt, Vilonia; Terry and Gena Avaritt, Clarksville; Ken Jr. and Kelli Avaritt, Harrison; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Wanda Mansfield, Benton; Paul and Paula Mansfield, Benton; grandchildren, Jeremy Avaritt, Clint Avaritt, Josh Avaritt, Megan Mahoney, Rebecca Clifft, Jason Avaritt, Heather Buck, Tera Reeves, Tyler Avaritt, Derek Avaritt, Katie Taylor, Trey Avaritt, 18 great-grandchildren. Family comments: Special thanks to Dr. Kevin Jackson and The North Arkansas Regional Medical Center staff for all their love and support during this difficult time. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Ministers will be Wayne Taylor, Paul Bates, and Owen Campbell. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Ashby's. Pallbearers will be Tyler Avaritt, Derek Avaritt, Jason Avaritt, Jeremy Avaritt, Clint Avaritt, Josh Avaritt, Trey Avaritt.
