Bonnie Gean Clark Freeman

Bonnie Gean Clark Freeman was born on Nov. 26, 1927. A devout Christain, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, only three weeks before her 83rd birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ocie Mae Alford and Samuel James Clark, and her husband, William Lee Freeman, all of DeWitt. She was first and foremost a mother and homemaker, but also retired after 20 years of work with the Grand Prairie Work Activity Center. She is survived by seven loving children: Bonnie Davis (Marvin) of Almyra, Vickie Bacon (Bill) of Springdale, Debbie Burleson (Stan) of DeWitt, Sherrie Jackson (J.D.) of Tontitown, Bill Freeman of Ft. Worth, Texas, Pattie Hornbeck of Little Rock and Clay Freeman (Angela) of Springdale. Bonnie is also survived by her two sisters, Jearlin Clark Eichler of DeWitt, and Ester Clark Starks of Stuttgart. Grandma Bonnie leaves 15 grandchildren: Michael Watkins, Chris Hill, Race Bacon, Natasha Herman, Alix Stephens, Tonay Riddle, Mikka Bacon, R.A. Hornbeck, Caleb Freeman, Amanda McConnell, Seth Hornbeck, Zack Freeman, Ben Freeman, Jacob Freeman and Lacey Freeman. Great-grandchildren include Jared and Casey Watkins, Lauren Colburn, Dax and Roxie Bacon, Colby James, Karissa Herman, Sam and Eli Stephens, Tabitha Bacon, Brandon Clodfelter, Derek and Delanie Riddle, Reid Hornbeck, Ridge Hornbeck. She will also be remembered and missed by a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at 10 a.m. outside DeWitt at the Forks LaGrue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials in her honor to the American Diabetes Association. Services directed by Essex Funeral Home.
