Mildred Narvellia Prince, 73, of Jacksonville, went home to be with her savior after a courageous battle with breast cancer on Monday, November 8, 2010. She was born in 1937 in North Little Rock. Mildred was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Pay; father, Samuel Rhodes; and infant daughter, Linda Darlene Prince. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Ret. Staff Sgt. Fred E. Prince; children, Deborah Luna (Dale) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Brad Prince of Jacksonville, Dana West (Andy) of Cabot, Scott Prince of Jacksonville; sister, Sarah Joines of Little Rock; brothers, James Pay Jr. of Cabot and Mike "Crickett" Rhodes of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mildred will also be remembered by her many friends and relatives including Gale Reamey and Velma Foster. Mildred was a beloved friend, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord, spending time with her family and no person ever left her table hungry. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to McAurthur Assembly of God Church Television Ministries or Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McAurthur Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery.
