Martha Jean Davis

Martha Jean Davis, age 82, of North Little Rock, passed away November 8, 2010. She was born January 7, 1928, to George and Ophelia Glover in Little Rock. She was the New Accounts Manager for Worthen Bank and Trust for 42 years. Martha was a beloved mother and mother-in-law, grandmother, family member, and friend. She was known for her unfailing generosity and devotion to friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Ralph Marion Davis, to whom she was married for 54 years. She is survived by her one and only child, Dwight S. Davis, who she loved very much, and his wife Kristina K., of Maumelle; her two joys, her grandchildren, William Davis and Marie Davis; one brother-in-law, Jack B. Davis, of Little Rock; and one sister-in-law, Bette Bateman, of Norristown, Pennsylvania. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, November 11, at 4 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, in Little Rock, 661-9111. A private graveside service will be held at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
