Phillip Anthony Thomas, age 22, of Conway passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010. He was born December 24, 1987 in Redlands, California to Patrick Arlie Thomas and Melanie Jill (Mezack) Fake. He was a student at the University of Central Arkansas majoring in music. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville. Of his many accomplishments, he was capable of and enjoyed playing several musical instruments. The Euphonium was his first. Phillip also played the Trumpet, Bassoon, Electric Bass Guitar, Electric Keyboard, Piano, and the Hand Bells with his church. Many times Phillip conducted music with his church. One of his greatest accomplishments was having written "The Singing Seas" which he proudly conducted at his Senior band concert at Jacksonville High School. Phillip once was a member of the Arkansas Youth Symphony. He is survived by his father Patrick Thomas and wife Melissa Thomas; mother Melanie Jill Fake and husband Robert Fake. He is also survived by one brother Matthew Alexander Thomas and wife Amanda, one stepsister, Pamela Neale; two stepbrothers, Justin and Jason Fake. His grandparents Arlie and Frankie Thomas of Jacksonville and George Mezack of Las Vegas Nevada. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles throughout the United States. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville will Dr. David Dyer officiating.
