Jimmie Louise Funderburg, 79, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, November 15, 2010. She was a member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church for 50 years. She was previously employed for many years at Timex in Little Rock and retired from Target Distribution after 14 years. She dearly loved her husband and children and was a dedicated Christian wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norris Wayne Funderburg, of North Little Rock; daughter, Deborah Goodrum and husband, George, of Jasper, Georgia; son, David Funderburg and wife, Julie, of Vilonia; daughters, Nancy Ward of North Little Rock and Lisa Shotts and husband, Joe, of Cabot; grandchildren, Joshua Ward, Bunker Kempton, Amber Goodrum, Alison Hill, Joseph Shotts, Andrew Shotts and Savannah Shotts; great-grandchild, Ashlee Hill; sister-in-law, Wanda Funderburg, of North Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Tomlinson and Consula Brinker. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and especially to Dr. Joseph Shotts, Dr. Neal Wyatt, Terri (Boo Boo) Gaines, CNA, Rita Uzah, RN and Mary Ross, caseworker. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116 or Graves. Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72113. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
