Betty Faye Hart, 79, of Bradford, died Monday, November 15, 2010 in Little Rock. She was born April 18, 1931 in the Anderson Community of Jackson County a daughter of the late Everett and Pearl Bengel Thompson. She retired from General Industries in Bald Knob in 1993 after 32 years of service. Betty was a member of the Bradford Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 55 ½ years, Bobby Joe Hart; a son, Kerry Joe Hart of Bradford; 2 daughters, Marilyn Hart (Kevin) and Teresa Curtis (Jay) all of Searcy; a sister, Mildred Beck of Monticello; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jason, Jennifer, Jessica, Mandy, Kassey and Myndin; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Zareonna, Deslyn, Anthony and Greer as well as many close friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Everett Thompson Jr., Stanley Thompson and her twin, Billy Gray Thompson; sisters, Dorothy Sutherland, Jean O'Banion, Geneva Morrison and two infant sisters.
Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Services will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Bradford Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Heard Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia. Memorials can be made to the Bradford Baptist Church. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
