Nellie Louise Sipes Moulin

Nellie Louise Sipes Moulin was born March 15, 1925 and passed away on Sunday November 14, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Andrew Moulin of New Orleans, Louisiana, Loving mother of Ronald Gerard Moulin (and wife, Bonnie) and Cheryl A. Moulin (and husband, Richard "Jack" Cook). Sister of the late Guy, William, Frederick and Joseph Sipes. Daughter of the late Lura Zelma Meacham Sipes and James Madison Sipes. Devoted grandmother of Gerard John and John Louis Cook-Moulin. Proud step-great-grandmother of Ryanna Marie, April Nikole and Amber Cheyenne Lamkin. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Moulin lived a life of common sense and uncommon values, including Depression era thrift, egalitarianism and unconditional love, a war bride who left her home state to marry a gallant New Orleans man before he was deployed to Europe during WWII, was an exceptional homemaker and a retired Bookkeeper for such offices as TANO and the Greater New Orleans Federation of Churches. A native of Lonoke, Arkansas and a resident of Metro New Orleans for the past 66 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 12 noon.
