MATTHEW CLAY McGARRAH entered his heavenly home after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of leukemia on Nov. 17, 2010. He was born on March 27, 1979, in Little Rock, Ark. He is survived by his beloved mother, Linda Latta; three beautiful daughters, Abigail, Emma and Lily; his aunt and uncle, Robert and Carol Latta; and two cousins, Courtney Latta Knoblock and Heather Latta Beene. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, A.J. and Edith Latta who both adored him. He leaves numerous cousins and friends who mourn him. Matthew was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School and attended University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he was an active member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He enjoyed playing golf, duck hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful father who loved his girls more than life itself and neglected his own interests to play a greater role in their lives. Matt was an extremely kind and generous soul who will be missed greatly by his family and friends. The family will be receiving friends and family at Matthew's home. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 8300 Kanis Road. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been established for his daughters. Gifts may be mailed to the McGarrah Children Trust Fund at BancorpSouth, 2500 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/chenal.
