Stephen Woody Henson

Stephen Woody Henson, 62, of Conway, Ark., formerly of Fort Smith, departed this life on Nov. 25, 2010 in UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. He was born in Fort Smith on May 8, 1948; the son of Jack and Mary Kay Henson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith and a salesman for Corrugated Specialities, also of Fort Smith. Woody graduated from Northside High class of 1967 and attended Westark Jr. College. Woody is survived by one son, Abe, of the home; his mother, Mary Kay Henson; his sister, Jane Rappeport and her husband Mike; two nephews, Sam and James Rappeport, and a very special person in his life, Paul Henson. Woody is also survived by other dear relatives and many, many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack A. Henson. Woody was loved by all. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. Private family committal will be at in Oak cemetery.
