Martha Louise Sutton, 86, of Little Rock died Sunday, October 3, 2010. Born July 19, 1924 in Little Rock, she was the daughter of Dwight Neal Hoffman and Annie Mae Daley Hoffman. A telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 46 years, she retired from AT&T and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. A Catholic, she attended Mass at St. Mary's Church in North Little Rock until her health no longer permitted it. She was a great fan of the music and movies of Nelson Eddy and Jeanette McDonald. Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, her daughter, Gail Buggica, and a sister, Thelma Peragin, she is survived by her daughter, Becky Darner of Little Rock, a sister, Phylis grimes of Benton, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Shane Darner of Little Rock, Ricky Riales of Memphis, Tennessee, and Zack Buggica of Pocahontas, Arkansas, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Griffin Leggett Healely & Roth, 5800 W. 12th. Street, Little Rock (661-9111). The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m., Thursday with Deacon Dan Cashman, officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetary.
