Clara Caradine

Clara Caradine, 96, of Little Rock was transfixed into eternity on Sunday, October 10, 2010, embraced by the love and presence of her devoted family. She was a longtime, faithful member of Greater Second Baptist Church until her health failed. She had been employed by the Little Rock School District at Oakhurst Elementary for many years. She was a quiet spirit with an infectious smile. Left to cherish her precious memory are her sons, Charles Sr. (Helen) and William Jr. (Taheeda) Caradine; daughters, Wilhelmina Caradine and Gertrude Reeves; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; a one sister, Florene Rollins; a watchful neighbor, Nolan Hardnett Jr.; and many loving friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 16, at Greater Second Baptist, 5615 Geyer Springs Road. Services entrusted to GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Your Entrance to Eternity", 2405 South Gaines Street. Open visitation will be from noon - 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 15, at the funeral home, 376-7188.
