LaVerne Denise Harper

LaVerne Denise Harper, 44, of Little Rock, departed this life, Monday morning, October 11, 2010. She was a graduate of Camden Senior High School, Henderson State University and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and Order of Eastern Star Enchanted Star. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Makenzi and Kennedi Harper; goddaughter, Arjana Bankston; three sisters, Valerie (Gerry) Rouse of Maumelle, Ark., Vernesa Harper of Phoenix, Ariz. and Yvonne White-Miller of Little Rock; three brothers, Greg Harper of Arkadelphia, Ark., Quentin Harper of Maumelle, Ark. and Rob Harper of New York City, New York; her parents, Evelyn and Curtis Harper of Camden, Ark.; her maternal grandmother, Martha McKinley of Camden, Ark.; three nephews, two nieces, one great-nephew and niece; several aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Agape Community Temple of Servants, 1224 Franklin Street in North Little Rock. District Elder Frank H. Stewart officiating. Private graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Ark. Arrangements by Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.
