Claude A Vaden, 80, formerly of Alexander, Ark., died Thursday October 28 in Houston, Texas. He was a retired schoolteacher and a many-year employee of Dillard's.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, daughters Reggie Vaden of Houston, Whitney Singkhek of Spring, Texas, Stacy Christie, also of Spring, four grandchildren, one brother Don Vaden of Winchester, Va., and one sister Evelyn Cash of Onalaska, Texas.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 1 at 10 a.m. at Geyer Springs Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
