Doug Stuiber

Mr. Doug Stuiber, age 61, of Benton died Friday August 27, 2010. He was born August 24, 1949 in Elkins, West Virginia. Doug was retired from the US Air Force with 20 years of service and also retired from Arkansas Game and Fish as Fleet Manager. He was of the Baptist faith. Doug was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Satterfield and grandparents, McKinley and Linnie Woods. Survivors include, daughters, Andromeda Milling and Mary Johnson, both of Dallas, Texas; parents, Herman and Patricia Stuiber, Newark, Delaware; brother, Darin W. Stuiber and wife, Terri, Delaware; brother-in-law, Ralph Satterfield, Maryland; two grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Doug lived in Benton for 41 years surrounded by his extended family, Gil and Denise Carpenter, Chris and Terry Carpenter. Memorial services will be 7 p.m., Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearer: Gil Carpenter, Chris Carpenter, Dillard Garrett, Brian DeGerald, Matt Mattingly, Bill Lambert, and Ted Jackson, Rex Schmertzler.
