Elnora Cooksey

Elnora Jackson Cooksey, 88, of North Little Rock, Ark. departed this life on Monday, August 30, 2010. She is survived by her 14 children, Acie B. Cooksey Jr., Dorothy Brown, Lucille Cooksey, Magnolia Phillips, Patsy Cooksey, Frank Cooksey (Taurus), Mary Smith (James), Ruby Jean Cooksey, Carolyn Dixon of Houston, Texas, Edith Faye Cooksey, Ronnie Cooksey (Wendy), Billy Cooksey (Martha), Joyce McDaniel (John) of Russellville, Ark. and Phillip Cooksey Sr. (Alisa) of Jacksonville, Ark.; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and special friends. A celebration of Mother Cooksey's life will be Saturday, September 4, 2010, 11 a.m., at Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church, 1301 Magnolia St., North Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, NLR, Ark. Mother Cooksey's visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2010, 7-8 p.m., both services at the church.
