Delton "D.L." Spradlin

DELTON L. "D.L." SPRADLIN, 69 of North Little Rock, passed away Sept. 3, 2010 at Baptist Springhill Health Systems in North Little Rock. He was born on Feb. 17, 1941 in Lonoke, Ark.; he was the son of Paul Spradlin and Opal Swinford Spradlin. D.L. was a retired vending mechanic, who worked for Herman- Binz Iron & Metal, until his illness, he will be remembered by his family for his love of spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Opal Spradlin and his brother Billy Charles Spradlin. Survivors include his wife Bettye Spradlin of North Little Rock; children Jimmy Spradlin of Sherwood, Jamie Spradlin-Craig of Benton, and Johnny Spradlin of North Little Rock; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two more on the way arriving in December and February; his father Paul O. Spradlin and a sister, Lawanda Jean Franks both of Cabot. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood; burial will follow in the Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock.
